Rained Out Blues
I woke up this morning and the rain was pouring down
I woke up this morning and the rain was pouring down
It fell so hard that it fell right to the ground
I looked out the window but I didn’t have much to say
I looked out the window but I didn’t have much to say
I guess there’s no chance that I’ll play outside today
I got the rained out blues. I got the rained out blues
I got the rained out blues so bad they’re turning green
So I got my bath and I dressed up nice and neat
Then I went to the kitchen and I got a little bite to eat
Then I looked out the window and the rain had turned to sleet
So I went to the shelf and I got my favorite book
You know the one that teaches your hamster how to cook
Well 15 minutes and an egg is all it took
Then I turned on the TV and I saw my favorite show
You know the one about the race car and the real pink flamingo
Then I looked out the window and the sleet had turned to snow
I looked all around for my favorite pair of shoes
I looked all around for my favorite pair of shoes
My big red boots help me lose my rained out blues
