Photosynthesis
I love to see those warm summer days
I love to soak in those bright sunny rays
It puts me in a really great mood
'Cause then I know that I'm producing food
Sometimes it’s difficult to see
How I overcome being hungry
Don’t bother looking North, East, West or South
Because my friend I don’t need a mouth
Photosynthesis is how I make food (4x)
I love to feel that warm summer rain
Without it I’d probably go insane
It showers my roots and on my leaves
All you gotta do is ask and you’ll receive
I guess you’ve probably heard and you’ve seen
It isn’t always easy being green
But everyday I stand up tall and still
My pretty green color is called chlorophyll
